It appears a truck backed into the pole, also a Caltrans (HwyDept) communication box was hit too. The bulb was intact as well as the ballast, I got them, I'll try them out later.

Ouch, did the ignitor break? I've heard those GE ones are pretty fragile.

Ian taking into account I see parts of it on the mast arm I doubt it is any good, the ignitors are meant to plug into a base which it just looks to of come out of.

@Joe, yes the resistor lead was broken. @Rio The top housing was broken at the slipfitter section. I also saved the PC (a Ripley), PC socket and mogul socket too. Bulb is a GE made in Hungary.

Looks like an Edison owned light.
