These run 24/7 except for the ones along the perimeter which interestingly have button PCs put in the side conduit tap. I'd imagine you'd see the "rings" of gases run through the tubes...
That's rare!
I've seen some with motion sensors built on the fixture and they were 3 lamp T8 electronic
Did you see any with failed lamps? If so what were they doing?
And fluorescent lamps will stay on when it gets cold, only starting is a problem in cold temps! Plus since these are enclosed they can build up enough heat
Lots have dead lamps in the other rows. they flash pink at the ends. A lot of the covers were cracked with holes and that's how I knew they were T8. They're standard bi-pin too which kida surprised me considering most commercial places use HO or VHO. Some would light the good lamp if one died but others would only dimly flash the good lamp if one died similar to a RS T12 ballast. My guess is these are early T8 fixtures with magnetic balasts and electronic replacements.
Yeah sounds like magngnetic with some electronic replacement ballasts , I've looked and the magnetic T8 ballasts go for about $35 each!
T8 lamps seem to do well as the HO T12
We have 2X F32 with vaportite covers that replaced 55w LPS, 150w HPS, 175w MH and 100 & 175w MV in the city hall parking structure. I was unable to get any as this is the project as the Inductions
