Doubt it.
I'm sure it won't, but it looks like that pole's going to fall into the water. There's probably some erosion going on with the sand that's exposing the concrete base or something... Do you now if these work?

@Mike, Thanks, I'm not sure if those work at night though, and I hope the pole dosen't fall in the water anytime soon.
@Darren, thanks for the model and wattage, I remember similar lumes on the Gardiner before they were replaced with HPS.

A few of these still roam the Mass Pike, but I think most are now 250W HPS M-250A2s.
