I'm not exactly sure. If I had to estimate I'd say about 8-9 feet from the ground to the bottom housing of the fixture.

8-10 feet is what I'm estimating for my light too if my dad lets me mount one.

After 4 years 3 months, the lamp in this fixture stopped working yesterday. It was rated for 15,000 hours so about right on. Not bad for a no-name bulb, I must say! It's been working faithfully every night since it was installed over 4 years ago.
