Taped Up GE M-250A with Astrodome PC
The latch must've broke... Once this needs serviceing, it'll be replaced though, as all damaged mercs usually are. On occasion taped up HPS lights will stay though, depending on the lineman. This has double the chance of getting replaced since it has an Astrodome PC verus a normal twistlock. I doubt NGrid carries astrodomes since Newport Electric was the only area in RI to use astrodome PCs, and the quanity of them is small. This also has a westie/cooper lens.

What exactly are astrodome PCs? How are they different from regular twist-lcks?

Astrodome PCs are mounted sideways inside the fixture. They have a twistlock PC body, but they have leads and a plug instead of a receptacle. the PC faced upwards, out of a clear window in the top housing where the twist-lock receptacel would normally be.

We have alot of GE power bracket fixtures with astrodome PC's but 80% are day burning and we don't stock them so once they fail, we change them to HPS fixtures.

I don't think NEMA heads were used here. Nor were powr/brackets. Cobraheads were basically it.
