OV-25 in the Backyard!
|
Well, after the pic this came down and the pole is headless once again. The pole couldn't handle the weight of the OV-25 (which is about 15-20 pounds i'd guess) and was bending forward. The light was swaying violently in just a breeze and the light kept sagging more and more so i took it down before it ending up damaged. I had that bad feeling in my stomach that something was about to go wrong. BTW, this had a 300W incandescent lamp and a 120V DTL PC from 1999 that would have been used if it could stay up.
The M-250A won't be going out back unfortunatly, since it's heavier than the OV-25. The only light that can go on the arm besides my Low Budget Area Light would be the NEMA Jace will be sending. Hopefully it's able to be on the set-up without fear of it getting damaged.

They're the same size as those yardblaster arms in hardware stores, but with a much tougher mounting plate!
