Motion sensor on mercury wall pack? I found this on my uncle's house (first time I visited since he moved). I didn't ask him if it worked. It appears that the fixture itself has a built-in photocontrol and the external control is actually a PIR (motion sensor). The lamp inside is a clear 175w mercury. I can't see why someone would set up a fixture this way. Keywords: Light_Humor!

Ironically, i saw this with a HPS tallpack at a local boy scout camp. I'll get pics this december when i go there again...

That there is the HPS lamp simulator, it's used to simulate the cycling of your typical EOL HPS lamp. Laughing
