Portfolio Flushmount Ceiling Fixture Model 23508-71 (60w Incandescent)
I bought this at Lowes. I might try a 70w HPS lamp in it to see how it lights up. IF the lamp fits in there without modifying the fixture permanently.

There's one weird thing about this light. It doesn't use screws to hold the glass in place. It uses a pair of strong spring steel catches on the sides.

Hmm that is odd... Is the glass that cheap paper thin crap on most newer household lights or is it a bit thicker?

Heavier.

Did you successfully light it up with HID, like I did with mine yesterday?

Not yet. Though I am thinking of gutting one of the PSU you gave me and use my 70w ballast. Need to find a med base 70w lamp for it.
