Nice ANCIENT carbon filament incandescent lamp. Possibly 1895. The guide said these lamps are original to the house which was built in 1895 I think. Those that burned out are replicas.
Not likely that's gonna happen bud. There was a huge crowd of tourists in the next room and they sounded like they're headed toward this room where this light is located in.
taking a close look...I am unsure if any of them are original...it looks like both has a exhaust tubing on the bottom....
plus the sockets doesn't look 1895....for one...the switches looks bakelite....they didn't exist in 1895...I have a socket with brass switch and another one that is ceramic!
I agree they are repro bulbs. The bulbs made in 1895 did not look like this one they were a long A shape. I'd say the bulbs here are Ferrowatt carbon filament reproduction bulbs (made in either USA or India), or some other brand imported from Japan.
