Here's a cute litte Visioneering F14T12 strip I found at a salvage place today. The original ballast was a LPF Lumi-Kon which I replaced with this HPF Advance.

A F14T12 is 12 inches long right? Even so, that ballast looks huge!

It's 15" long. Why it's not 12" I have no idea. These 15" T12s are weird looking. Like it's outta proportion or something. Heh. Laughing

wow that looks cool how the ballast just fits! it doesn't get hot? i have found HPF ballasts running the shorter lamps listed often get really hot Confused Confused

Yep it's 15" long, anyway this ballast does get a bit warm but it's still cool to the touch. The ballast is actually the same size as a regular 4' HPF ballast. Shocked

Yeah, I was also thinking this thing looked like a HPF 2xF40T12 ballast...what size lamps is it rated for? 14-15-20w?
streetlight98   [Mar 02, 2013 at 09:08 PM]
yep.

There's a link in the description that's goes to a full size pic and on that you can clearly read the ballast label.
