thanks! I don't know anything about the electrical specs on the lamp. there's no markings what-so-ever on it. i looked really hard for anything but there's nothing. I also noticed the tip is broken and there's a hole in top. I must have broken it when i wiped the lamp clean after testing it. you can't really even notice it that well unless you know exactly the angle to look at it. Well, it makes a good display case lamp... I'll have to take my grandpa up on his offer for a display case or two when i get my own place. Maybe one for lamps and insulators and another for ballasts and miscellaneous parts like literature?
Too bad the tip broke off, but seeing as the filament is still intact and this is a vacuum lamp it might be fixable. If you take it to the right person.
yeah come to think of it, i washed the lamp BEFORE testing it so i don't know how it lit up and it's still intact... i'm not going to try to light it again though. even if it was perfect i don't think i'd be using it anyways since it's so old. i guess someday i could find someone who could fix it.
