[Gone] Incandescent Signal
Was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I found this fully incandescent Fortran signal while walking around Toronto today. I'm assuming it was a miss out since the rest of the signals at the intersection were all LED or LED red/green signals. This better pic showing the full intersection taken today replaces the oddly angled pic from yesterday.

all the wires remind me of a colonial textile loom. Laughing

Laughing There's also some ancient looking square cased and oval cased transformers sitting on these poles too. Instead of being bolted to the pole like on modern installs they sit on wooden platforms. Razz

Ooo cool! Sounds like there's some nice old stuff! The R37 looks nice but one of those MH gumballs would look nice. Cool

Yeah some of the poles on this street have MH gumballs and S arms. I bet you the R37 replaced a incandescent gumball and S arm though. Razz

Update: this got retrofitted to LED, they used GE's GT-X modules instead of the Dialights that Toronto used to use.
