Powerlite SignLite
Old Powerlite SignLite sign floods recently taken down as part of a sign structure replacement project. The sign floods have been disconnected around 20 years ago though.

I actually want one as they're quite rare but I think they hauled the stuff away now. I believe Darren is the only one on here with one.

Yep, someone at MTO had to idea of using them starting in the late 70s during the energy crisis. Before that, sign lights were 125w MV using the same flood fixtures and HO fluorescent in the 60s. Personally I think HPS would look really bad lighting a green coloured sign though.

None of the older sign lighting fixtures were retrofitted to HPS as they were all disconnected sometime during the late 80s-early 90s.
