you can see here, the harmful uv emissions are filtered out by ordinary glass that came out of a picture frame. the paper instead looks more bluish like they would under ordinary blacklight fluorescents which are safe for us to look at. WARNING i'm paranoid about what some people might do. if you want to do this, make sure you use glass that will effectively filter UV and make sure you are totally protected. ordinary window glass should suffice. make sure the whole thing is stable and safe.

when i tested the f40 BLB in the single lamp preheat industrial unit in my laundry room the washer machine was all colorful becuase of the laundry detergent so my mom was like "keep the light on. i'm gonna clean off the detergent"
