R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant

Here's a shot of the interior of one of the local water treatment plants opened up to the public today. This hallway leads to the massive water filtration tanks and settling tanks that are located behind the glass on both side. Those vintage schoolhouse style fixtures have been retrofitted to low wattage metal halide though.
The plant was built in the 1930s and a lot of the original Art Deco lighting, marble, and bronze are still intact. It's really nice looking for a water treatment plant...in fact I think a water treatment plant is the last place you'd think would look like this.
