Kitchen Light Fixture
Per Mike (streetlight98)'s request, I am posting the light fixture above the kitchen table here. This one is fitted with General Electric Soft White G40 Bulb. I have dimmed the bulb to bring out the details of the fixture itself. Also, the fixture is original as the house itself.

Ahh nice. I remember when i was younger back in the early-to-mid 2000s my grandpa would take my out for breakfast to a "greasy spoon", as he called them, and many of them would either have these or F40T12/RS troffers. I remember they would be chain suspended and it would first be stuck on a hook that was centered over the table and then the chain would go to a junction box that was on the wall about a foot below the ceiling next to the table. Pretty cool!

That's a nice shade Robert, Mike that expression 'greasy spoon' is popular here in UK and was probably cockney derivation. cockney someone born within the sound of Bow Bells in London.

Ahh interesting. My grandpa is Portuguese if that explains why he uses the expression. (I'm not Portuguese though because he is technically not my grandpa but my "steap-grandpa" but I've always referred to him as my grandpa.

Looks like that expression is more wide spread. Portugal is very nice been to Lisbon and Porto which still run very old trams (street cars) my first You Tube was on these
