These are Lumec Heilos fixtures, common in Newmarket and in Montreal.

Yes Lumec Helios HBM series.

Apparently they are also common in Edmonton. Razz Calgary seems to be going to OVF's.

I think there's a also some scattered in downtown Toronto too. Markham seems to have also adopted the OVF. Razz The 125 FCO (and rarely a GE M-400A3) seems to still be popular for spot replacements though.

Brampton has a lot of OVF's now along with FCO 125's. I wish we got GE M-400A3's Rolling Eyes Yeah I noticed in York they are the spot replacements. I seen a bunch of them on Jane street. Here our spot replacements still vary between OVZ,OVX,115,125.

The OVXs are occasionally used for spot replacements here in York too. The 115s are mostly used for lower wattages like 100 and 70w though.

My power company stopped using OVX's in late 2011.
Model25FanForever   [Sep 20, 2013 at 01:43 AM]
Yeah but even our 250w replacements are 115's now. The OVX is only used for 400w replacements now compared to 100w+ but the OVX doesn't seem to handle that wattage too well.

What does your company use now then?

@ Alex; glad to hear they stopped using those sad excuses for light fixtures lol. Laughing

Today's OVXs are pieces of junk. Even Duquesne Light stopped installing them because the lamps in them would cycle prematurely.
