You'll actually be surprised....I have seen crooked poles stay up for more than 10 years and still standing LOL!
mercuryvaporrocks   [Jun 06, 2010 at 04:44 PM]
The poles on my old street were always bent and crooked and that never changed.
gailgrove   [Jun 06, 2010 at 11:32 PM]
Well there will be road work here soon, BTW the pole is made by Joslyn.
SeanB~1   [Jun 07, 2010 at 05:10 PM]
Wild guess there is a streamlet or damp patch at the bottom of the gully.

Interesting, I just uploaded a pic of this type of pole but leaning in the opposite direction.
gailgrove   [Mar 27, 2011 at 06:56 PM]
Update: this pole has actually been fixed so its not leaning nearly as much as before Very Happy

I've noticed that these type of poles have a lot of different names on them, so far I've seen Joslyn, Lacal, and Polefab on the nameplate.
gailgrove   [Aug 14, 2011 at 04:44 AM]
Yeah, Polefab makes the MTO type poles too.
streetlight98   [Aug 14, 2011 at 03:19 PM]
looks so close to the High V's. Shocked
gailgrove   [Aug 14, 2011 at 03:31 PM]
It's a little deceiving, they where still about 10 feet away, but that is very close.
seansy59   [Aug 14, 2011 at 07:13 PM]
Thats dangerous! Those High voltage wires are uninsulated. If it gets the right wind, ZAP! Shocked Surprised
gailgrove   [Aug 14, 2011 at 07:14 PM]
Well like I said it was fixed Wink

I believe Joslyn was the first manufacturer of these poles, then the line was later sold to Lacal, and finally to Polefab who still makes them.
