Here is another example of a two-section pedestrian signal from Central Park in Manhattan, New York. This is an Eagle/Mark IV head, and L.E.D. inserts are in use here. I took this picture last Summer.
That in particular was manufactured by CooperLED/AtLite Inc. It is likely over 7 years old. New York City first used red and green L.E.D. inserts from this company as far back as 2000, and many remain in service to this day; however, they are dwindling, since most, if not all, have reached the end of their total usage. This is also true for its hand and man inserts.
CooperLED/AtLite Inc. products were not exactly great, since many had a tendency to fail rather early while in service. In any case, the company left the signal manufacturing business sometime in the mid 2000s.
