Yes and no. Tork used to have those "things" on their photocontrols. I'm pretty sure they were for an optional external slide shutter thing kind of like what the older Fisher Pierce photocontrols had in front of the eye. They look like little tracks. I think some swivel-type photocontrols have that external slider shutter to close off the window. But their newer photocontrols today are made in China and look like the Touch And Glows. I think I sent you a Tork?
Yep. I have a Tork from you but I'm in Canada right now so i can't look at it. They had external shields like block swivel PCs? I prefer the swivel stem PCs (the ones that look like black stems.)
I have never actually seen one with the shield on it. But the grooves on the sides of the window look like they would be where some kind of shield or something would slide up and down. I know Ian had a picture of a Tork photocontrol in his gallery at one time. It might still be there.
I never noticed that. The main focus of this picture was the pole that this street light is mounted on. It got my attention and I just had to take its picture.
