GE Form M2

Had no idea that SCE used them throughout Southern California. I didn't think they were employed that extensively anywhere other than the Golden Gate and San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridges.

I found some pix on the Huntington Digital Library (HDL) of these sodium vapor lights in Santa Monica, San Marino, and a few other cities.

Yep, was browsing Huntington Digital Library this afternoon. Two pictures I found, the Santa Monica one and the Tustin one shows them lit at night. You can get a good view of the fixture(s) if you zoom in closely.

The rest of the pictures labeled "sodium vapor" I examined closely appear to be acorns, many on span-wires. I wonder if the NA-9 sodium lamp could fit in an acorn; they are about 16.5 inches long.
