Am I missing something? What is the "gallows" next to the lantern? Looks like there's a small floodlight at the end, directed towards the lantern. Or what on earth it is...? Confused

That's a door sensor.

Ah... Smile I think I've never seen it detached like this. They're usually attached directly on the upper door frame or on the wall above.

neat! i suppose it has less of a chance of getting converted since its remote ballasted, ballast could be in the ceiling or wall..too hard to acress Very Happy

If they really wanted to, it wouldn't be hard to run a new (name your voltage) feed in conduit and replace the fixture or stick a CFL in the remote ballast OV-25 but hopefully they'll keep things simple and just leave it MV. Cool

Yeah, I think these have ballasts in the wall which might be why they remained MV. The rest of the lights at the yard (400w MV Flatbottom OV-25s) got replaced with 250w HPS Cooper OV-25s. Given that the TTC is putting up LED at a lot of their properties, I sure hope these guys don't get LED'd.

looks like a holophane arm? maybe not but ive seen this very arm with Refractopaks on some buildings more than once. RLS 200s as well.

Yeah, spot on, I think it's the same arm used with the Refractopacks.
