I've got one of these fixtures. The doors on these are plastic which I found odd but they are super light.
Also, how do you know this is 47 watts. These come in 3 different driver settings and without any identification, there is no way to tell from the ground.
So this would actually be 73 watts since the model number ends in 1A, the fixture was prewired to 1050ma. If the fixture model number ended in 700, it then would indeed be 47 watts.
I have the GCJ1 version and that has 3 settings, 350, 530, and 700ma settings. Mine came from the factory wired to 700ma, the model number also ended in 700, but I reduced it to the 350 setting making the fixture only 24 watts.
It's pretty cool how you can change the output on the fixture. I would assume using a lower setting would prolong the life of the LEDs (and possibly the driver too). I would assume if this light is 73W, it replaced a 150W HPS?
