Duble the 115!
Here are some better pictures of my lights from Dallas...

So I went to Dallas today, last week I got a couple new lights on ebay, a cooper OVW and an American Electric 115. I decided to just go down to Dallas to just pick them up at the place they were instead of having them shipped. Plus since I love the Dallas area and eventually want to move there, I just took the lights as an excuse to go down there because I already wanted a trip to Dallas before I move and I had two days off with the day prior an early shift and free hotel stays. So I decided to go. Originally, I just wanted to get the OVW, since I love Texas for being so unique, from road signs, to streetlights, to infrastructure too, I wanted the OVW. And I plan to keep it totally original. So I took a trip down to pick up the lights. Now here is the information on this picture:

These are the two 115's I got from ebay. Well.. I got one off ebay for 19 dollars but the other the guy decided to give me an extra one for free.

He told me these were pulled off the road from Garland, Texas area in favor of an LED change-out. I dunno where the refractors came from but they are full cutoff lights. The refractors were falling apart.

When I went to pick up the light.. (the guy basically had the same car as me, just older, and also V6 luxury model, pre face lift while mine is face lift and NOT luxury model, but same make and model, same generation, and same color, but that is beside the point) And he decided he wanted to give me one of the other ones he had for free. Which was a nice score! Bronze color as well. The ballast is big too for a 150w HPS light, I plan to hang one of these on the house in place of the OVX, this time I will make sure the bug guards are in place... And it is as sealed up as it can be to prevent those darn buggers from clogging up the light.

Side note: Just arrived home and realized that these were wired for 240 volts. I changed the tap and one of them fires perfectly, pictures later.

Awesome that they're multitap. Uncommon for low-watt HPS. I see they're also supposed to be FCO (painted reflector and FG in model number) but drop lenses are an upgrade. You can't beat that price either!

19 dollars for one of them 0 dollars for the other. and yeah. and dark bronze too!

Basically you paid $9.50 a piece, which is an unbeatable price. $19 a piece would have been OK but $9.50 is even better. I just bought three NOS 113s from the early 90s for $100 with the lamps. That's $33 a piece but for NOS lights with the lamp. Decent price.

These look awesome in black. AEL offers them in white, but I have never seen a white cobrahead. When I do get around to ordering one from AEL (once I get the money) I decided that it is going to be a 150w PSMH 125 in black.

Black looks nice but if it ever dayburns the gear will fry pretty fast from the heat lol. Even the standard light gray cobraheads get pretty steaming in the summer sun. White would look good for about a week til it gets covered in dirt and pollen and bird crap. Laughing I actually thought cobraheads were painted white until I actually got one. didn't realize it was a really light gray.

These are actually a dark bronze color, so they are brownish, not black. Not sure why they are this color but I guess the lights in Garland, Texas were like this where the guy said they were replaced from in favor of an LED changout
