Basically a larger clone of the ATBS on the left aside from the obvious 3 glass optics instead of one. Note the cluster of three glasses are smaller than the single one. The cluster of three is actually one piece too. And one thing I noticed was the NEMA tag on the 70W has square corners and not rounded like the 20W.
Hmm my questions why would LED lights need LED NEMA tags anyway? The purpose of the NEMA tags in the first place were so workers could identify the type of lamp they needed for the ballast from the ground, LED lights don't have a separate lamp that comes in and out so when the LED fixture dies. then you have to replace the whole thing, correct?
@ Joe: the ATBS even comes with three screws installed to attach the optional proprietary drop lens. None were installed with the lenses though. There is no lens option for the larger one AFAIK. Personally an open bottom lens on an LED seems like a bad idea to me since it would fill with spider webs and bugs quite fast lol.
@ Ian: The wattage label lets them know what wattage light to replace it with when it craps out. The "LED" part seems unnecessary though. Pretty obvious it's an LED by looking at the LED diodes on the bottom lol. But I guess adding the "LED" helps reinforce that the fixture is an LED for the less-knowledgeable lol. These are both 0-10V dimmable too, so they use less watts when dimmed. I don't have a 0-10V dimmer but I can flip between 100% and the lowest setting using a standard toggle switch across the gray and violet ballast leads. Open switch (OFF) makes the light 100%. Closed switch (ON) makes the light dim to its lowest setting, which is 10% for the larger unit and I believe either 1, 5, or 10% for the smaller one; forget which... Basically the small one is a nightlight at the lowest setting and the larger one is about as bright as a 60W incandescent at lowest lol.
@ Model25fan: yeah these are nice lights and rock solid too. Very well constructed. The paint is way beefier than what is on their cobraheads too. Hopefully it lasts!
