Cool Green lamps were made that late? Cool!
Is the Grow-Lux a GE?
xmaslightguy   [Jan 20, 2013 at 02:11 AM]
I'm not sure on the age of any of the lamps. The CG I probably got 18 to 20 years ago (its the only 1 left of 4 I originally got - the others were used up)
Industrial still makes a CG, but I don't know how it compares to the GE ones.

The Grow-Lux is either GE or Sylvania (don't remember .. that one is probably gone now after being removed from this & used as a plant light) - but if I had to guess I'd say GE just from the blackening pattern..

Looks like GE to me...are the other colored lamps from that era?
xmaslightguy   [Jan 20, 2013 at 02:56 AM]
C75 is same era as the CG (its possible the CW could be too) but WW & Gro-Lux are both a fair amount newer

I see...is the WW a Philips?
xmaslightguy   [Jan 20, 2013 at 04:27 AM]
Yep, I think the WW was a Philips similar to the CW one

I think you're right...
Pardon my ignorance but is triphosphor (post-EPACT) warm white pretty much the same as halophosphate like my MainLighters?
xmaslightguy   [Jan 20, 2013 at 04:34 AM]
I really don't know on that.. to me they all look fairly similar in color (might have to do a side by side comparison sometime)
Personally I hate all that government regulation crap (EPACT/etc) LOL
GEsoftwhite100watts   [Jan 20, 2013 at 04:35 AM]
Ditto...but I think more energy efficient technologies should be encouraged but nothing banned...
A_lights   [Jan 20, 2013 at 04:55 AM]
Exactly right...so much for a free market/country when we can't decide anything for our selves Neutral
xmaslightguy   [Jan 20, 2013 at 05:31 AM]
I agree with that too Smile
Only thing that should be banned is low-quality junk that doesn't even last a year LOL
