LED 'Eyeball' StreetLight
A small 20w warm-white LED 'streetlight' type fixture.
These (and anything similar) to me look like eyeballs . LOL

Over-all the fixture itself actually looks fairly yell made...who knows on the electronics though (atleast EOL parts could be replaced though)

Looks like one of those cheap ebay LED streetlights. Although you can change out the LED from a cool white to a warm white. They also have those LED modules, if you want warm white.

Yep it is one of those cheap eBay lights. I got this one as warm-white.
I've seen the LED modules by themselves in various colors - CW / WW / Red / Orange / Yellow / Green / Cyan / Blue / Grow.
Cyan (if its true Cyan) would probably look MV-ish!

Someone on LG said you could just change out the LED to the color you want (but I don't know if you have to also change the driver for different colors)

Well, if the driver is 20w same as the LED, it should be no problem if you're planning on changing the LED out in the same wattage, as the driver. So theres no need to change out the driver, unless if you're going to put a 30w LED, which you need a 30w LED driver. Wink

Where did you see this at? Was this just on the ground? I don't think I see these in service cause again, they are cheap junk, to be honest I don't even think these are made to code so these are an electrical hazard.

@lightingfan8902:
At this point not planning on changing the LED, just more curious to if its as simple as that if I wanted a different color.

@LilCinnamon:
This one is mine, got it off eBay (& had it sitting around for atleast a year...my plan was to put it up in the yard, but never ended up doing so.)

Cobraheads are not made to code either, unless they are UL or CSA listed. But code-compliance is only an issue when the fixture is used on or powered from a building. It doesn't apply to utility-fed lighting like street lights.
