Look...No Lines!
New power poles that have been installed, but don't have the lines yet. (all as part of a power upgrade)
See more info in the discussions below this image

There were also some more poles farther along that had 'wheels' attached at the ends of the insulators (so the wire will easily thread through, but be kept in place).
Unfortunately no pic, because the camera didn't focus right.

Location:
Along highway 285, somewhere between Jefferson & Fairplay, CO

As of around 2 weeks ago some of these poles have their lines now, some were 'in progress'

I know, I was just by these again last monday, and the progress is definitely getting more and more, a bit after jefferson they had more up and most of them are all complete at this point, so they don't have that much more to go before they have to start working on them in the mountains.

I wonder how far they'll be able to get before winter sets in?

---
There's a slight chance I may by there tomorrow & Sunday, if so I'll see how much was done since 2 weeks ago.

I've seen the "wheels" you mentioned before. They use them here too, on the distribution lines when they totally redo the infrastructure on the street.

I wonder how many complaints that the new lines will have after they are all complete to aspen park, I mean the old 45 kV lines that they are taking down are considerably smaller than the new 115 kV lines they are putting up. The new ones in Bailey that I saw are a whole lot bigger and I wonder how many have complained about those already.

@streetlight98 :
I actually have & was planning to upload a pic of the wheels Laughing

@LilCinnamon:
I'm sure there's been some on the new sections that are in progress...and will be more when people see those big new poles go up - especially as they get closer to aspen park where there's more people & stuff...
