McClelland Circle
|
This is McClelland Circle over the past 18 years. As far back as I can recall, there was a single square hinged pole with a P-4000 (4X1000 watt MV) Powerglow that was replaced in 1974 with GE's four luminaire adapter and 4XM1000 luminaires. When McKinley Pkwy was relit in 1986, the majority of lights installed were Crouse Hinds OVM, with several American Electric 25s and a single M400R2 replacing a mix of Westinghouse OV25s, GE M400s and M400A1s, an American Electric 13 and 25 and some Line Materials Unistyle 400s. The circle got 4X400 watt HPS OVMs. Then in the late 1990s-early 2000s, all three circles were refurbished, along with the roadways and lighting surrounding them. The "new" lights at the time were Central Park Style 175 watt MH and these Acorn clusters. In 2004, McKinley Pkwy underwent a repoling/relighting and all the HPS lights and poles were replaced (with several added) with 14 foot posttop Central Park Style lights at 175 watt MH.
