ahh so this is the L-150's original lamp? Is it still pretty bright? is this still a lifeguard lamp?
lite_lover   [Jan 02, 2014 at 06:09 AM]
It still is pretty bright,I don't believe it's a Lifeguard lamp, I'm not sure if it is an original lamp.

I'd guess so since the L-150 is from the 80s. unless the original lamp died prematurely. Sad did it come with a PC?
lite_lover   [Jan 03, 2014 at 01:57 AM]
No, it didn't come with a PC.

Same with my Cooper OVC. It came with a 50W GE HPS lamp but no PC.

Surprised it's not a BT28! Interesting, is this made on Norelco/Radiant machinery or something?
lite_lover   [Sep 07, 2014 at 07:54 AM]
Not sure...

You can see the black splotch of paint found on brass Westinghouse bases. I guess it's when they first switched from Westinghouse machinery. My NOS clear Norelco 400W lamp has a spring stretched around the indent on the top of the glass instead of a wire bent around it,

Yeah that lamp is pretty cool! Did it come with a sleeve?
streetlight98   [Sep 07, 2014 at 04:56 PM]
Nope. No etch either but it's a Norelco because of the unique design.

Philips began using the ED bulb shape almost immediately after taking over the Westinghouse lamp line.
