115 mounted outside
Mounted the 115 over the garage. Stays on all night.

Funny, it says you uploaded it on the 19th, when it's the 18th today.
LilCinnamon   [Nov 19, 2010 at 01:10 AM]
It has the wrong time zone.
Form109   [Nov 19, 2010 at 01:53 AM]
is the M250R2 Lense yellowing or dirty?
LilCinnamon   [Nov 19, 2010 at 02:02 AM]
It was yellowed by when It was in service. Darren sent it to me yellow already. I think the previous 100w HPS yellowed it. Darren before he sent it to me told me the refractor was yellowed.

Looks good, what ballast do you have in your M250R2?
joe_347V   [Nov 20, 2010 at 12:33 AM]
Looking good, I guess you don't need to use that motion detector light now that you're using cobras.
gailgrove   [Nov 20, 2010 at 12:42 AM]
Ugh I hate those double par motion detectors Mad
streetlight98   [Nov 20, 2010 at 01:26 AM]
me too
gailgrove   [Nov 20, 2010 at 01:30 AM]
I really hate outdoor motion detectors totally, I mean JUST KEEP THE LIGHTS ON AT ALL TIMES Rolling Eyes
streetlight98   [Nov 20, 2010 at 01:33 AM]
Exactly. I dislike them as well.
Form109   [Nov 24, 2010 at 05:30 AM]
do you run both of these lights at the same time?

i Dont really like those motion detector lights either...and i see them with CFL's in them from time to time. Shocked
LilCinnamon   [Nov 24, 2010 at 05:58 AM]
Yeah. I did just replace the M-250r2 with the NEMA head just a moment ago.

I run the MV light less times than the HPS light. HPS light is on all night, while the other is on only for a portion of the night.
Form109   [Nov 24, 2010 at 06:03 AM]
to save wear on the lamps or what?

is this done manually or do they switch automatically?
streetlight98   [Nov 24, 2010 at 08:27 PM]
You should switch 'em- make the MV one dusk-to-dawn and the HPS on for a portion. This way, your neighboors will say "Wow, he has a pretty green light" instead of "Ugg. ORANGE! Get me otta here!" Laughing
LilCinnamon   [Feb 27, 2011 at 09:33 AM]
Now, The whole setup is changed. The NEMA head is on the corner of the deck, lighting up the area where my sister parks her car, The M-250r2 lights up above the garage, (M-250r2 is 70 watt HPS) And the Yardblaster is in the middle on the deck railing with a 20w CFL in it. The Two HID lights are on from dusk to like.. 11:00 PM my time, and turn back on from like.. 3:00 AM my time to dawn. The Yardblaster stays on all night. But the CFL HATES cold weather and fails to start. I can get a pic of it tomorrow.

Awesome set up Ian, I would have kept it like that if it were me

Yeah those motion sensor pars bug me too, unless they go from 50% to 100% when there's motion like the fixtures on my house
LilCinnamon   [Dec 04, 2011 at 05:08 PM]
The 115 is mounted in the same place it is mounted in this picture, but it's refractorless right now and the refractor from the 115 is on the 113.

And the yardblaster is mounted on the deck railing, giving 70w HPS light on the opposite side of the house. Illuminates the yard pretty well. xD
