Wiring exercise I finished less than two hours ago! Tonight I finished this final wiring exercise before the exam. It's a overview where we had to install everything we learned to use. I installed absolutely everything that's on this 4' X 8' plywood sheet! Here's what I installed: - NMD 90 14/2 - 1/2" EMT - 1/2" rigid PVC - AC 90 14/2 - Liquid-tight flexible PVC conduit - Liquid-tight flexible metallic conduit - TECK 90 14/2 - Rigid metallic tubing Here's a little challenge: could you recognize ALL of the cables and conduits in the picture? Devonte, you SAID you can bend 4 inch manually....THEN WE WANT TO SEE YOU DO IT ON YOUTUBE (buddy you brought it up!!!)

We'll make things easier for you though: it can be EMT if you want, not necessarily rigid Wink

I once tried to bend 1" rigid conduit. Hard but got at 90 bend out of it. A 4" EMT? Not even possible.

Easy to bend a 4 inch pipe by hand, you just need something to hold the one end, and a long enough pipe 9 or another larger pipe that you can slip over the first, and it will bend. Not good if you are attempting to undo a nut by using a 6m length of tube as a longer handle on the power bar, but it did work after the second power bar, as the first suffered an unfortunate structural failure.

I am still left in wonder at the guy who broke a 32mm AF spanner whilst undoing a nut by hand. It was not a cheapie spanner either, but a Gedore, which I have yet to break anything aside from the ratchet drives. Cheapie sockets I can twist until either the socket or the drive breaks.

Vince is correct....what you need is what it's called is a BENDER! No, not Bender the robot from Futurama....but a bender for bending EMT. The biggest available is the 1 1/4 inch!
