I remember we tried to use screw in LEDs I offered you but it didn't look good with the cool color it had...making green look bluish....This is a cool traffic light...and this dude even having night lights in the traffic light using the socket adaptor, they do look bright due to reflector effect! It's awesome...it actually is remote controlled by an awesome controller!
The reason for the blue color, is simple. The green traffic signal in this pictures have a blue lens instead of green.
In Israel, i think blue lens for green signals is illegal, and as such, green traffic signals in Israel, have always green or "traffic signal green" colored lenses.
In Israel, all of the traffic lights have 12" signals. 8" signals are only used for pedestrian signals and the special traffic signals and for the "Metronit" bi-articulated buses and regular buses in Haifa and the light train in Jerusalem.
8" traffic lights to vehicles are very rare in Israel.
4" traffic lights, used as an assistant lights for the first driver to the right sometime, if all the traffic lights for the route are hidden by vehicle.
