Nice...I do know some cylinder shaped relays but only the PC is directly on top of the relay itself instead of separate...never actually held one up close though
The town of South Hadley, MA which is near me uses nothing but Durastars. YUCK!, plus why are the taping the photocell since they are using a remote cell anyway?
Or they could just leave the PC as it is with no tape. That wouldn't do any harm. I see some lights here that are controlled by relays that have regular unmasked PCs installed becuase a shorting cap wasn't on a hand.
Sun-Tech makes their shorting caps with the same cap as their photocontrols. So you wouldn't know if it was a shorting cap or a photocontrol unless you could actually see components of a photocontrol behind the window.
We also have the giant relay cabinets for freeway lights and a fuse box sized control box for some smaller installs too.
