If they'd never seen one, then the read the instruction manual. It has a purpose. And jace, I thingk all of the componets are mounted on the door so the whole fixture doesn't need replacement.
What instruction manual? the one that magically appears 40 feet in the air in the middle of winter while trying to remove a piece of fibreglass The DuraStar 20 has all of the electrical components mounted to the door (ballast capacitor and igniter, but the DuraStar 30 only has the capacitor and the igniter (the ballast is mounted on the top housing)
So, you have never heard of reading an instruction manual when you're installing a light eh? It comes in handy And I wouldn't mind a cheeseystar being wacked with a giant hammer. You could probably take it off by slamming you fist on top. CRACK!
Oh. Once you've installed a light once, you don't usually tend to have to read the instructions I guess. I keep all of the literature that comes with my lights for future refrence. The listing for my M-400 on e-bay showed instructions on the listing, but I never got any with my light. Never really was mad or anything, it just would have been nice if I had them.
I even printed out a set for my R47
The ones in my pic have 200w+ ballasts which don't help the DuraGlass™ at all.
