With all three lit up, there would be mass confusion to obey which light if that was at the street Razz Laughing

Those look like the new Dialight design. Right? With the grid pattern.
gailgrove   [Jun 04, 2011 at 10:29 PM]
They are actually Duralight's from 2005, even though the signal is from 2008.
@ rjlina2, Yeah, it sure would Laughing

Hehe you finally lit your signal up Razz

The new Dialights are expensive and not designed well. Your Duralights are nice though! Cool sig

Thanks Joseph & Nick!

Are these like the new dialight design? They look similar.. They have the same pattern on the lenses.

The GE ones are better, they illuminate better, I see both the GE and new dialights mixed in.

When I caught WL contractors converting traffic signals from incandescent to LED's, They were using the new dialight ones, I got to hold one of the modules, it had plastic over it though. I wish I could of kept one of them but they didn't have enough for me to have one, they only had enough for the signals.

I think this one has Duralight modules, and I'm not a fan of those new Dialight modules the field of view on them is too narrow. I actually like the old Dialight design better.

Haven't really seen the new GE ones, we only used the pixelly ones here.

Yep these are Duralights, I know we don't use these anymore here but I couldn't tell you what brand is installed...
LilCinnamon   [Jan 31, 2012 at 03:01 PM]
I know they are duralights I was just wondering if they were similar.

Can you take a pic of the signal opened up showing the modules? (On the stand) I wonder what the back of these modules look like.
gailgrove   [Jan 31, 2012 at 03:06 PM]
I think they are better quality, that's what Nick said anyways. I think we actually may still use Duralights, just a different model. I can take a picture tonight, however you can partially see one of the modules here. Wink

You could also see some spec on here.

My area dosen't use a lot of Duralights...Dialight, GE, and Swarco modules are more common here.
