Extremely rare U turn signal in MD
There's only two of those in my town, and those were the only two I ever seen in person. But I have seen there's more of those out there in MD from Baltimore Ghosts webpage.

This one is actually pretty much about a block away from me on the main road. (after a few turns)

As we have doghouse style mainly for normal view. But this style is also often found on the front row (the closer to the stop line row) is usually shaped like this instead of a dog house shape while the doghouse is on the farther part.

it looks like the U-turn Heads are 12 Inches and the R,Y,G Signal Head is 8 Inches, any kind of Turn signal is now Required to be 12 Inches, though they used to make 8" Turn Signals.

I've seen a U turn signal before but it used a left turn arrow instead of a u turn arrow.

Nice pic Jace! I have never seen such configuration for traffic lights. What is the galvanized pipe under the whole thing for?

You could make one just like this, seeing that the traffic lights are in segments allowing you to use whatever configuration you want.

I also have not seen a U turn signal before!

Yeah it is rare everyone!
FGS, its not a gaveilzed pipe but a bracket that holds a bottom metallic rope just to prevent swaying on windy days. If you wanna see that traffic light, you would have to meet me CLOSER to my house one day...it is about 5 miles away from where we met at McDonald's...just 10 minutes away!!!

I've seen a LED U-turn signal head in Moreno Valley, CA. I'll get a pic next time I'm there.

These are not standard-issue lenses, those arrows are special order.

I see those from place to places.....this one here is very close to me...and is still incandescent to this day! We still have plenty of incandescent traffic lights in service....I have seen another one with the too although the way the arrows looked was a bit different I believe a bit narrower looking...when it gets warmer out or nicer out I will try to get a shot of them...
