A Powerlite B2225
In a strange place! I have no idea why this is here but it is clearly a MTO setup, I doubt it lights up at night though the pole, arm and fixture all seem to be in perfect shape, oh how I wish I owned a bucket truck sometimes! Pardon the street view since the picture I got of it didn't turnout well, [url=http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Pearson+International+Airport,+Toronto,+Ontario,+Canada&hl=en&ll=43.674576,-79.594755&spn=0.000002,0.001017&sll=43.762532,-79.386891&sspn=0.00179,0.004066&vpsrc=6&t=h&z=20&layer=c&cbll=43.674576,-79.594755&panoid=ybhBOifR0SAoA6M96QiHaQ&cbp=13,93.62,,0,-3.86] see the street view here. The ones in Barrie are really to far away, and since I can't drive yet I have no real way of getting there. I am almost 100% sure I won't get them, I'm not even sure about the lights in now Cambridge since it is the same problem. Next weekend I plan on going to Active Surplus finally and getting some of those lenses, since this place is just along the route I would be taking anyways, I will take a look at this site and see what it looks like.

The Streetview you linked to make it look like a B2215! Shocked
gailgrove   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:22 PM]
Meh, I'll get a proper picture of it someday, hopefully the light too! And this shot is still much better than this one!
joe_347V   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:29 PM]
Well unless I get a picture first! Shocked Well actually that's a bit far to go just to get a picture of a light. Laughing
GullWhiz   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:33 PM]
Well...I am giving you 7 days......but if 7 days.....expires...you suck!
joe_347V   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:34 PM]
Pay for my ride and I'll give you a pic before evening. Laughing
GullWhiz   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:35 PM]
You think Gulls have actual cash?
gailgrove   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:36 PM]
I will likely "suck" then, I don't think I'll be past there for about 18 days when we have to pick someone up from the airport. Laughing

I also accept credit, cheque, debit, vintage lamps, traffic lights, roadsigns, streetlights, computer parts, ballasts, lampholders, Canadian Tire Money, video games, cell phones, cameras, and GULLS as forms of payment. Laughing
TiCoune66   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:44 PM]
Canadian Tire money LOL. You'll get one HELL of a pack of them! Like 500$ worth of gas in 5¢ notes XD I can help you with... 4,55$ in CT money Razz

Gull Turd OK?
joe_347V   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:51 PM]
What's the current market rate on them? Laughing
gailgrove   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:54 PM]
Make a gull turd incinerator, connect it to a generator and sell it back to the grid, then see how much you make. Laughing
joe_347V   [Sep 18, 2011 at 08:04 PM]
That depends if you use the peak or off peak rates. Laughing

Maybe the road once went where the powerlite was
gailgrove   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:08 AM]
It's possible but it isn't a provincial road.
streetlight98   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:50 AM]
Hmm. Maybe MTO leased lights to public commercial establishments. Neutral
gailgrove   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:51 AM]
I can't picture that somehow.
joe_347V   [Sep 19, 2011 at 01:54 AM]
Yeah it's very unlikely that MTO would lease lights, my best guess is a contractor got hold of a MTO truss arm, concrete pole, and Powerlite.
