Two ITT Model 25's on A-frame Brackets
|
Located right in front of the Big E in West Springfield, MA. There are at least a dozen of these still up on this road and there either 400 watt or 250 watt HPS lamps, but these lights here are both 400 watt HPS.

Those arms.....single guy or doubles.......PEPCO in MD and some DC has a lot of those exact arms (that's if they are singke guy arms) I think those arms aew from roughly 60s to 70s arms since those from this area have fixtures of those eras.....
Also the a-frame bracket has been changed to a Maclean 6' canteliever bracket.
An underdriven HPS will last longer, I got some reports from my lineman friend that there was a bunch of 70s 150 watt HPS lamps in GE M-250A1s set at 100 watt instead of 150 watt and still working in 2012! Of course they were removed...for his collection! But of course 50 watt is not as much obvious difference as lets say 250 watt difference.....
at least the very expensive RLG carries its rugged good looks lol.
