They only activate when they're pressed so I guess one pressed the button. Shocked

Ahh. This may be a dumb question, but are the "X" lights operated dusk to dawn, dusk to a certain hour, or 24/7?

They actually are still somewhat visible during the day, maybe the same as a traffic signal during that day.
