Hmm. If this uses 3 watts like the spinny mechanical ones, then how come these are used.

Because of the money grab they make with these, plus they are read remotely, also saving money.

That's stupid how they charge more for usage at "off peak" hours.

That meter can handle up to 200 Amps load for one phase circuit.
