General Electric M-400 A1 FCO, BLACK.
Here is a black M-400 A1 FCO.

I don't see these often in black. xD

Probably 1981 or a bit after.. Seems around that date right? Cause it looks similar to my M-400 A1 FCO's.

Because of this fixture I am gonna Restore my M-400 A1 FCO and paint it black.

This is located in Frisco, on C-9 close to I-70. Jace got a pic of the traffic signal next to this light and it was on LG before he deleted them all.

A municipality in my area has lots of black M400A2 (possibly A1) drop lens and M400A3 drop lens lights. They also have some black ITT 25's in both FCO and drop lens. The black color on these look pretty good, IMO.

I wanted to paint my M-400 A1 FCO black because they look good and I just want to do that. xD

This light here IS maintained by Xcel Energy. Even far out in the mountains Xcel energy goes out pretty far.

I see more grey of these than anything. But I DO remember when I was at disneyland.. They had lots of these (Or M-400 A2 I don't remmeber which model) but in different colors, Blue ones, Green ones, Yellow ones, Red ones... Heh. xD

This was definetly not origionally black. If it was black from the factory, there would be no paint on the NEMA tag becuase those are put on after the paint....
