Close up of Highmast fixtures....
More than I would love to, go closer to it, but it would not be a good idea, since that road is pretty busy, and from time to time cops passes by, I do not want to attract any attention. So this is the best I can do for now.......I hope this satsifies you. As we all had confirmed, that those are the General Electric brand.....There's plenty still in service here in both MH and HPS (and possible was MV originally since those are from 1970-1973 in my area)

Is this lowered because they are getting taken down? I would like to see a highmast up close.

In fact one highmast with two fixtures has the lowering cabinet OPEN... I mean the lowering mechanism in the pole.

I thought they used M-1000 refractors?
GullWhiz   [Nov 26, 2011 at 04:29 AM]
actually the refractors aren't round..... This one here is a 4 fixture version....The most with those exact fixtures we have here are 6....
