I used to be a volunteer firefighter and loved riding on the back with light and sirens baring ready for the attack, It still gives me chills seeing them roar down the road.

I've seen different colors here too, the one you have pictured says for Denver, but heck, I drive all over the Denver area just for the fun of it! I know Denver and the metro area by heart, not to mention Colorado Springs and Longmont, and even Ft. Collins. I know how to navigate those cities well. But yeah, the firetrucks here are red, at least at the fire station near me in Highlands Ranch, I used to work right across the street from a fire station, at a Wendy's, so when someone was ordering often times you heard a fire truck or ambulance blaring their sirens in the headset, it was annoying. xD
In my area there are two different colors of firetrucks.
Yellow for a medical emergency (The ambulance still transports the person to the hospital though)
Red for a fire emergency
@LilCinnamon: Yep I was Denver (fairly close to downtown) when I saw this one parked with lights flashing (& no-one inside) .. since I had the camera with me, perfect opportunity to snap a couple pictures LOL
If I was to drive around the city without a good map or GPS I'd get 'lost' in no time I don't go down there very often.

I doubt it was the same one, they have lots with this design. I saw fire trucks just like this one go to the convention (NDK) I was at last weekend when they were needed and they were just like this one.

Color of the trucks depends I'm guessing on the city/county/district here... I've seen white, yellow, and red (where I live they're red)
Yellow for a medical emergency (The ambulance still transports the person to the hospital though)
Red for a fire emergency
