Anyone reproducing the classic M-250A?!
I see some of these things in strip malls, they can't be GEs! They don't even have the GE logo on the doors. The glass is similar to what was used on the early AEs and the Unistyles.

Wait...are you saying those are brand new?
LilCinnamon   [Jul 31, 2012 at 05:24 PM]
They don't look brand new.
GullWhiz   [Jul 31, 2012 at 05:27 PM]
You know what I mean, new as in after GE discontinued and maybe 10 years or 5 years....plus you'll be surprised how fast fixtures can age, esp if there's a lot of birds, in this case a lot of birdie poo on top of those fixtures but its shiny in the bottom!
Antstar85   [Jul 31, 2012 at 05:31 PM]
Those are defentenly ARK lighting fixtures.

My 313 looked like it was old and had wear and like it had the paint fading off! But then I cleaned it.. And now it looks like brand new. So you got a point there. xD

The paint is usually dull and faded after 3 years.

Not if it's good paint. Some of the newish GE's installed here still have their shine after being up since 2006. And Tony's right on this one. they're made by ARK Lighting. Crazy enough, they only offer this in 400W lamps. Shocked Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the ID! You know, there are some of these in FCO (relatively recent installations) on the city of LA streets, maybe they are Arks rather than rebuilt GEs?
streetlight98   [Aug 01, 2012 at 03:12 AM]
possibly. I guess it depends whether or not there's a GE logo on the door.

intreasting this reminds me of how they do with chineese cars. the mfg uses an older design from another.
Mercuryvapor123   [Mar 05, 2014 at 07:23 PM]
They probably have GE's original mold but just eliminated the logo.

Yeah the reflector on these is different though. (and lens obviously)
