Old IID arm and kinda old GE fixture These S style double guys are old, many date back to the 50s and originally had series incandescent and mercs. The GE split door M-400 here has several bullet holes on the other side. It's a 250w HPS. IID doesn't use 200w HPS unlike PG&E and SCE. cool! There are three M-400 split doors with badly browned out deep polycarbonate lenses. One has no lens and a few bullet holes in the reflector and top housing. The other two are in perfect shape from what i can see. They're 250W HPS and don't work at night. They're on poles that probably date back as old as the school (early-mid 50s) and are rusted out big time though appear to be still strong. The lights either don't have PC receptacles or have low profile shorting caps.

A SHOWWOW arm...looks very PG&E style...also those style arms also be found under PPL Electric (Pennsylvania Power & Light) used very similar if not the same S shaped arms! PPL covers a big part of Eastern PA.

PPL has a LOT of those smaller S shaped arms with bottom braces which looks very decorative in simplest way. They are pretty much in every town and cities under PPL! Also they have those bigger and medium S shaped arms with double guys....then there some of HUGE S shaped arms with V bracket support in middle holding the double guy too.

The newer arms in PPL seems to be the regular curved double guys though but they have some LARGE ones that actually appears to be 25 feet long, but may be 20 feet long!

Yeah, I know PA cities like Harrisburg, Lancaster, and Scranton have arms like what you described. Pretty neat arms.

Here in IID territory all newer arms are also arched or angled, they now use aluminim but steel arch arms are also found.
