Mercury vapor acorn in daytime
We found this one operates on 120v. It is one of two MVs that still light at night. The few non-functioning acorns we looked at turned out to be HPS, likely disabled by copper wire theft or vandalism.

Did you go with Rick Shields? Very Happy Sweet that this still works! It looks so misplaced among the GE corbraheads. The RI area was fairly late with the switch to HPS so we don't have many older HPS lights, but there are a good number. There are barely any older cobraheads here in HPS other than 250 or 400W though. Just a few 70s ITT 13 and 70s M-250R that are 100. I hope this keeps shining bright! Is it on the same relay as the GEs?

Lesson....keep it MV, copper won't be stolen...go HPS...stolen wires.....MV are thief repellant....
