Joslyn clamshell - different kind
There are a couple of these here, I still have yet to determine the make. Someone told me they might be Joslyns, but I dont know.

Edit: This is indeed a Joslyn, maybe an early model.

i think this is a Revere...or josyln....Pat in LG did have a picture of one i think...but i think it was an unidentified one,but those are my guesses.

Dave this is a Joslyn do you remember Pat (Ripper444) had one in his pic?
Silverliner14B   [Sep 18, 2011 at 02:34 AM]
I remember now! Pat had one, the refractor was broken in two pieces but you could put them back together. Edited to show the make.
GullWhiz   [Sep 18, 2011 at 03:07 AM]
The refractor was cracked but I think it may have just been a crack but not in 2 pieces or he glued it...

And Dave don't forget I had a pic of same fixture found in Frederick? See it right here and what is EVEN more IRONIC about you is you commented that pic and READ it LESS than a month ago! Dave YOU SUCK!

You sure it's a Joslyn?? I thought it was a Pemco.
GullWhiz   [Sep 18, 2011 at 03:14 AM]
Dave himself has a PEMCO clamshell....it doesn't look like this one...
streetlight98   [Sep 18, 2011 at 03:17 AM]
Is there really any information on PEMCO? What were they?
Silverliner14B   [Sep 18, 2011 at 03:19 AM]
Heres my PEMCO clamshell.

Michael, PEMCO is a lighting manufacturer based in Philadelphia, PA. They were out of business for a while but came back and they make a variety of decorative street lights, including a reproduction radial wave using a nema head.

Philadephia Electrical Manufacturing CO?
GullWhiz   [Sep 18, 2011 at 03:49 AM]
I have a PEMCO open bottom street light! There's a few around this area, also have a PEMCO Admiral hat too! Some incandescent PEMCO NEMA head streetlight fixtures found here too
Silverliner14B   [Sep 18, 2011 at 06:46 PM]
@Michael, yep that's what PEMCO stands for.

@Jace the Gull, nice to hear your area has some PEMCOs. Jim Terry has a PEMCO small cobrahead in his collection which looks like a GE M250 from the 60s.
NiMo   [Sep 18, 2011 at 07:27 PM]
I have a PEMCO 400 watt cobrahead in my collection Smile
streetlight98   [Sep 19, 2011 at 12:42 AM]
Does any one know what model #s the pemcos are? everyone seems to just call the PEMCO lights. Laughing I was just wondering if we knew any model numbers.
Silverliner14B   [Sep 19, 2011 at 07:22 AM]
Thats a question of mine since the late 90s, lol. Someday we will find out the model numbers. Wink
