Rona was having a clearance sale on various items and I found this nearly full case of Sylvania F14T12 Daylight fluorescent lamps for 74 cents each regularly priced at $5.74.So I bought the case lol.
@Darren, you could always order one or maybe you'll find one from Home Hardware or Restore or convert a F15 fixture like you said.
@Vince, hmm I didn't know that the F14T12/Ds are going to be discontinued , maybe I should stock up on some but the local Rona doesn't sell them as far as I know...
I'm not sure if the light over my grandparents' sink is a F14 or a F15 but i think it's a cool white lamp. It was a F20T12 years ago but it was replaced around the time i was 5 or so. Now only the center region of the cut-to-size troffer lens is lit.
Now you just need 25 F14 fixtures to run them all in.
It's probably a matter or months, maybe a few years, before the F14T12/Ds are discontinued...
