My college campus!

you can see a nice night shot of my community college campus. The main road is lit with mostly older style OV-15s (with exposed bolts on the sides of the fixtures) and 2 OV-12s There is also one replacement GE M-250R1 as a replacement which is also a merc.
The parking lot you see on the right are 180 watt LPS!!!

In the USA...in the 80s HPS and LPS on parking lots were pretty common...and those fixtures were install roughly in the 80s as I remember seeing those LPS back in the early 90s. The MH are becoming more common for parking lot lighting now days but we haven't had any problems with those LPS and those MV fixtures was recently serviced about a year ago and doing well! The campus had a lot of HPS shoeboxes in the walk areas, but due to some recent construction that still is under construction they are slowly replacing the shoeboxes with fancier looking fixtures with pulse start MH!
